Autumn Film Season
This autumn Gallery 2 was transformed into a cinema space to show documentaries and feature films portraying aspects of the American South.
Photographs, music, literature and popular Hollywood films have all helped build a collective memory of the American South in our minds. The documentaries explore the rich cultural heritage of the region and profile some of the artists in the exhibition. The afternoon matinees are feature films ranging from early black and white classics to art-house and popular contemporary movies.
