The evening started with an opportunity to view Antony Gormley’s Critical Mass installation on the rooftop in it’s opening week. Critical Mass, one of Gormley’s best known works, is an installation made up of 60 life-size cast iron body forms taken from 12 discrete moulds of the artists’ body.

The evening continues with a specially created three-course dinner in the Restaurant accompanied by the wonderful Creole Jazz band.

James Braxton's Dining Club - 10th April 2010

James Braxton from BBC2's Antiques Road Trip was our first after dinner speaker. He also brought his MG that was featured in the series and an auction took place for a special limited edition Wadsworth print.

David Getty tells us about the special Valentine's Dining Club event that was held on 13 February2010.

'Starters was a choice of five dishes, and I plumped for the king scallop salad with chorizo and cider dressing. For mains we enjoyed pan-fried guinea fowl with truffle roast,  sweet potato and chestnuts, and stuffed trout wrapped in parma ham with roasted Jerusalem artichokes. Both dishes were everything one would expect from an evening of fine dining: wholesome food, beautifully presented, delicate flavours, cooked to perfection.'
