Artists
The De La Warr Pavilion is committed to developing a strategic role in maintaining a dialogue and supporting artists' professional development.
We aim to create a range of professional development opportunities for artists offering support in developing their own practice and in engaging with a variety of publics. We are keen to promote artists at the heart of the programme, involving artists across all art forms and from all cultural backgrounds.
The Pavilion recently hosted the inaugural Hen Weekend, artists professional development project. Four artists commissions documenting the event are now available on the Hen Weekend website.
ARC @ DLWP DLWP is a partner in the ARC scheme, a programme of Artists Professional Development co-ordinated by the Aspex Artists Resource Centre that has received funding to expand across the South East.
ARC is sited at six partner organisations positioned throughout the South East region. These are: Turner Contemporary, Margate; South Hill Park, Bracknell; OVADA (Oxfordshire Visual Arts Development Agency) in partnership with Modern Art Oxford; Fabrica, Brighton; The Lightbox, Woking; and the De La Warr Pavilion.
