FRONT ROW, the annual South Coast Fashion Show has a new home at the De La Warr Pavilion, having outgrown other venues in the East Sussex coastal community. For the last 5 years this glamorous not-for-profit event has been promoting regional fashion designers and young creative talent showcasing innovative and sustainable fashion including vintage clothing, second-hand customised, recycled and re-worked garments. This November FRONT ROW will go "OPERA" and promises to be another spectacular event with 16 designers showing collections inspired by opera and ballet with dramatic 'night at the opera' indulgence and grand gesture on the background of some of the world's most beautiful classical pieces of music - with a twist. There will also be the Charity Shop Challenge Awards on the night, an inspired competition for designers and amateurs alike to create a garment from charity shop clothes to a budget.This large-scale fashion production has become a highlight of the South Coast social calendar and proudly supports the Terrence Higgins Trust 30th Anniversary campaign 'Thanks Terry' as well as the St. Michael's Hospice 25th Anniversary celebrations.
