Gallery Interaction with Joseph Young

Cerith Wyn Evans describes his current exhibition as a "love letter" to the De La Warr Pavilion. In these sessions, artist Joseph Young will lead small groups of the public around the building in silence to carefully explore the normally unheard and ignored sounds of the building. These 'sound walks' will be recorded using tiny binaural microphones (worn in the ear like personal stereo headphones), which will then be made available for listening immediately afterwards and online on the DLWP blog. Read more
