De La Warr Pavilion is pleased to announce that singer / songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae will perform on Saturday 16 October as part of a national tour this autumn.

Corinne Bailey Rae became a household name in 2006 after her self titled debut album became a huge critical and commercial success both sides of the Atlantic.

Featuring the hit singles Put Your Records On and Like A Star, the album charted at number one in the UK and earned the 30 year old singer songwriter multiple Grammy and Brits nominations.  

Four years on and four-million album sales later came the long awaited follow up The Sea. Bailey Rae’s voice, always an expressive and soulful instrument, resonates with a poignant and newfound depth. Her delivery, both on record and live, allows a unique beauty and wonder to radiate from the dark corners of explored themes such as love and loss.
