Using the surrounding environment

The uniqueness of the De La Warr Pavilion stems not only from its architecture but also from its setting.

From inside the building children are provided with a different perspective on the beach, the sea and the sky.

Outside spaces can also be used extensively.  The large South Terrace is a great space to play and experiment with different techniques, and the seafront environment around the Pavilion provides many different connections across different subjects.
