Whilst working here in isolation it has been so heartening to see how many of you are supporting us out there!  Along with some generous donations, we have also seen people join up to become members and patrons, adding 56 names to a growing community (of over 1000) committed to seeing the Pavilion survive current challenges and survive in the future. We are incredibly grateful for all your support.

My commitment is a modest token of support to assist the uncertainty that lies ahead for so many. The Pavilion plays such an integral  part  for many people lives in so many varied ways so vital that this continues as a major attraction to the tourist option of Bexhill.

The DLWP is a great place to pop into during a walk on the prom for a warm up in the winter or to sit on your terrace with a drink in the summer. Great for interesting exhibitions and excellent gigs. We popped in on Boxing Day for a coffee after a blustery walk and as always something interesting in the exhibition space and in the shop.  Always free and always open unlike others on this bit of coast. Just applied to join as a small thank you.

I just brought membership of the fantastic DLWP – please consider doing it to support this precious building in these difficult times

We are thinking of ways that we can continue to engage with our members and patrons online, and support them under lockdown.  Our quarterly members and patrons e-newsletter, packed with news and insights, will be sent digitally in the next few days. It will include a survey asking members in what ways they would like to use the Pavilion whilst they are not able to come to the building.  To receive this e-newsletter and contribute your voice to our community, join us a member here.

DLWP has been bringing communities together through culture for 85 years. We have lost half our income overnight and we need your support more than ever. We are your Pavilion – please donate or become a member today. Thank you.
