We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ed Frith as Head of Live Programme at the De La Warr Pavilion

Ed joins us directly from his role as Music Events Manager at the Roundhouse, Camden where he delivered a diverse range of music events from Radiohead to David Byrne, Patti Smith to Chic, Snarky Puppy to BBC live music events. He was involved in its many festivals including the Apple music festival and Roundhouse Rising – a platform for emerging musicians – and took the lead on booking the Bonobo and Tru Thoughts all day festivals. Ed has strong relationships within the music industry and has worked closely with the Roundhouse Learning team to develop opportunities for young people within the sector.

Ed says about his appointment :

“I am excited to explore the many opportunities that working at such an iconic venue will present for artists and to bring my experience and expertise to continue to deliver a diverse and stand-out programme for the for the Pavilion and its audiences.”

Stewart Drew, Director and CEO of the De La Warr Pavilion says :

“Ed joins us as we start to develop our live programme over the next five years, continuing to bring the best acts to East Sussex, but also helping us to grow the impact that our programme has on our community, particularly supporting young people and skills development in the region. Ed’s appointment completes a new programming team for the De La Warr Pavilion, joining Rosie Cooper (Head of Exhibitions), Ashley McCormick (Head of Learning & Participation), Caleb Madden (Outlands Project Director) and Sam Francis (Outlands Project Manager). “
