The Rye International Jazz and Blues Festival proudly presents a very special pre-festival one-off concert with the amazing internationally acclaimed voice of Jazz, Gregory Porter on Wednesday 24^th June.

Gregory Porter has taken the jazz and music industry by storm with numerous appearances on national television and radio. He continues to perform to sell out audiences across world and has achieved international recognition and acclaim with his Grammy winning multi-platinum selling album Liquid Spirit.

This charismatic Californian is here to breathe life, and vitality, and fun, and excitement, and passion, and honesty into the musical genres he has loved from boyhood, ever since Nat “King” Cole entered his heart.

In Gregory’s own words – “Really, I’m married to music and whether people keep on buying my records or not, or keep on coming to the shows or not, I’m still going to sing. I’m amazed and thankful and blown away that I’ve had these opportunities. But if they take it away, I’m cool.
