The Virginia based singer-songwriter of intuitive folk music returns to Bexhill On Sea. Diane Cluck has been influential in the development of the Anti-folk scene and has collaborated with amongst other Jeffrey Lewis, and Herman Dune, CocoRosie and Stanley Brinks. Along the way she has released 7 albums including the critically acclaimed Boneset released in 2014.
A current generation of songwriters, including Laura Marling and Florence Welch (Florence + the Machine) have cited Diane’s work as influential.
“Diane Cluck is a virtuosic talent with an emotionality that feels at once ancient and alien. Her mastery of her voice as an ecstatic instrument is so compelling.” – Antony Hegarty (of Antony & The Johnsons)
She made me rethink my singing instincts. Diane is not just an amazing and interesting singer, she’s a philosopher. –Sharon Van Etten
