The De La Warr Pavilion is proud to support Art In Romney Marsh with the inclusion of Catherine Yass to the exhibition Blue.

Blue is an exhibition of contemporary artists’ site specific work and a celebration of Derek Jarman’s legacy to the Romney Marsh.

The title Blue has been chosen to honour the 20th anniversary of his untimely death. Jarman lived and worked at Prospect Cottage Dungeness from 1986 until his death in 1994, he is buried at St Clements church Old Romney.

Selected artists have created a range of site specific work in response to this year’s artist brief. We invite you to explore these historic sites through an artist-led experience. This year’s title brings the work together to create an exciting, imaginative & thought provoking celebration of Blue.
