DLWP Shop and Music’s Not Dead are open until 4pm on Christmas Eve.

Due to Tier 3 restrictions, the exhibitions, Cafe Bar and all visitor facilities are closed from 19 December until further notice.

DLWP reopens on our 85th birthday for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
See below for our planned opening and closing schedules for December 2020 and January 2021. All schedules are subject to ongoing government advice.

 

Saturday 12 December 2020 – Sunday 3 January 2021

  • Open 7 days a week, 10am – 4pm except Christmas Day (closed) Boxing Day (11am – 4pm), New Years Day (11am – 4pm) for exhibitions by Zadie Xa and Marc Bauer, Café Bar and shop. Look out for our Christmas Shopping Day on 12 December!
  • You will no longer be asked to book in advance, but please remember we will be subject to capacity restrictions and visitors’ details will be taken for Track & Trace at the Box Office.
  • Booking for the Café Bar is not possible at the time, but Christmas lunches will be served as a daily special along with our new winter menu .
  • Saturday 5 December : Omar MBE Live : This event will still go ahead in the auditorium as planned. We will be contacting all ticket holders regarding government restrictions
  • Sunday 13 December: online event : Framing Migration: language, alignment and empathy

Monday 4 – Friday 15 January 2021: Closed

  • The Pavilion will close on Sunday 3 January 2021 at 4pm for essential maintenance work which could not be done under current lockdown, and to prepare for our new exhibitions.
  • We will reopen to the public at 10am on Saturday 16 January when our new opening hours will be Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm.
  • Friday 9 January : FELAbrating the Music of Fela Kuti: This event will go ahead in the auditorium as planned. We will be contacting all ticket holders regarding government restrictions.

Our new exhibitions Rock Against Racism: Militant Entertainment, 1976-82 and All In The Same Storm: Pandemic Patchwork Stories will open.
