Workshops offering drop-in style creative activities, in dialogue with our exhibitions.

This Art Sunday is all about creative repurposing and recycling milk containers!

Bring along your milk containers and your creativity and have fun discovering and inventing ways to alter and reuse them! From elephants to nightlights, bird feeders to jewellery, artist Anna Thomson will help you to see the value and potential in this throw-away material. Let’s see how creative we can get!

Older children (aged 8+) and adults can also try chipping and recycling milk containers into a new sheet material complete with pops of colour from the lids. Cut and pierce to create a badge or jewellery piece.

Art Sunday workshops run on first and third Sunday of each month in the Ground floor gallery and its adjoining Learning Space.

2 – 4.30pm, drop-in no booking required.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
