  • A vintage black-and-white photo shows an old car with two people, one driving. Another person, standing beside, appears to guide. Modern orange and red collage elements surround it, creating a retro yet vibrant tone.

The De La Warr Pavilion is turning 90 years old on 12 December, and you’re invited to help us celebrate! Join us for a special Art Sundays session where we’ll be making birthday card collages inspired by the Pavilion’s rich history.

Create your own card using a selection of 50+ archival images from “back in the day,” printed in our celebratory orange and pale-blue colour scheme, along with the newly commissioned 90th anniversary logo. You’re welcome to display your card at the Pavilion on 12 December as part of the birthday celebrations, and if you’d like to take it home afterwards, you can do that too.

Drop in, get creative, and help us wish this iconic modernist building a very happy 90th birthday. It’s going to be super fun!
