It’s 2023 so let’s welcome the new year with a splash of colour!
Join us in the Rooftop foyer for our first Art Sunday of the year, where we will be making a Mexican shadow box, which is a decorative box used to display small items or keepsakes which are meaningful or sentimental to the owner, such as souvenirs from a trip, small artwork, or photos from special occasions. You will be provided with a printable template including coloured card, foam sheets and other fun elements to decorate your box. If you don’t have a photograph you can even make a drawing of your favourite cartoon character! It’s up to you! So grab your new year cheer and celebrate the things we love and cherish with your very own…Mexican shadow box!
Drop in anytime from 2-4.30pm, no booking required!
WHAT ARE ART SUNDAYS?
Art Sundays are free drop-in creative workshops that take place on the first and third Sunday of every month, open to all ages.
Each week, the workshops will be led by an artist taking inspiration from our exhibitions programme.
You can find Art Sundays in the Rooftop gallery from 2pm – 4.30pm.
We look forward to seeing you there.
