Join us this upcoming Art Sunday where you will be layering up photos of Zineb Sedira’s artworks to create your very own collaged rock faces. You will be provided with images of lighthouses, anchors, ships and rocks from the current exhibition Can’t You See The Sea Changing, all you need to do is cut them out and piece them together in new and exciting ways! Let’s make some Rock Faces!
BONUS ACTIVITY:
We will also be providing a BONUS activity! You will be invited to work together as a family to go on a self-led photo hunt around our beautiful building with a series of guided hints and tips. Use your creative eyes to search for textures, patterns, circles and lines to make beautifully composed photographs. We will then invite you back to the activity space for an opportunity to share and celebrate your images on a TV screen at the end of the family session.
WHAT ARE ART SUNDAYS?
Art Sundays are free drop-in creative workshops that take place on the first and third Sunday of every month, open to all ages.
Each workshop is led by an artist taking inspiration from our exhibitions programme.
You can find Art Sundays in the Learning Space in the Ground floor gallery from 2pm – 4.30pm.
We look forward to seeing you there.
