Workshops offering drop-in style creative activities, in dialogue with our exhibitions.
For our next Art Sunday in July we will be having a Pebble Binding Workshop led by artist Nancy Odufona. Create soft sculpture pebbles using paper, fabric, and yarn, inspired by the East Sussex coastline and the current exhibition by RESOLVE Collective.
Nancy works range from ceramics, paper cutouts, sculpture, installation, and moving image to explore the relationship between transformation, deconstruction, and the domestic space. Her recent work looks at the transformative qualities of the coastline and how one inhabits an exterior space.
Art Sunday workshops run on first and third Sunday of each month in the Ground floor gallery and its adjoining Learning Space.
2 – 4.30pm, drop-in no booking required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
