A child with braided hair, wearing a yellow and green sweater, assembles cardboard pieces on a table. The scene conveys focus and creativity.

Join us this half term for a playful workshop exploring what floats beneath and what drifts above, led by artists Finlay Forbes-Gower and Babalola Yusuf.

Families are invited to build floating objects using cork and other buoyant materials, then test them in water containers placed around the space. Above the floating worlds, a suspended thread mesh will become a shared sky filled with hanging creations: birds, clouds, planes, balloons, messages, imaginary creatures — anything you can dream up.

Using acetate, coloured tape, felt tips, paper and paint, children and adults can create together in this imaginative workshop celebrating movement, balance and possibility.
