Beach Beacon returns to Bexhill After Dark in 2023, but with some very special additional features.

Last year the De La Warr Pavilion developed and presented its own installation, ‘Beach Beacon’, as a part of Bexhill After Dark.
While the installation will still bring the DLWP to life in a spectacular display of sound and light, this year we not only invite the audience to join us to play the installation, but you can also look forward to a choreographed performance by dance students from Bexhill and Robertsbridge.

Play the Pavilion:
Use a special machine created by the Pavilion’s young people’s group, The Blueprint Collective, to make the light display come to life. This is an interactive performance that will allow you to create your own display on the 27 light panels – you will be the director of your own light show!
Dance the Pavilion:
Students from St Richards and Robertsbridge will be performing original choreography against the backdrop of the Beach Beacon light display accompanied by original music compositions by students from East Sussex College.
