Bexhill Artists’ Workspace was formed in 1988 by two people – Margaret Carpenter and her friend and fellow painter Peter Lee – who felt that it was of the utmost importance for artists in Bexhill and its surrounding areas to have a permanent space to work and exhibit.
To date the group comprises over 50 members. The Workspace can offer fun workshops, and a place to exhibit your work.
For many years we have held very successful annual spring and autumn exhibitions, open to all abilities. These events are essentially to sell individual works of art which can be purchased directly from the artist, giving the purchaser a real link to the art on their walls.
