Three people relax inside colorful hammocks—blue, red, and patterned—in a serene, well-lit room, projecting a calm and leisurely atmosphere.

Curious about creative work that connects with people and communities?
Want to explore what it means to make art with others, not just for them?

Join the Creative Sidley and Talent Accelerator teams for Creating Together — a free, friendly evening all about socially engaged creative practice.

This event is open to anyone aged 18–25, whether you’re just starting to explore your creativity, already making work, or simply curious about creative community projects. You don’t need to be applying for a role to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

An informal, welcoming session to:

·         Learn what socially engaged practice really means.

·         Hear from two guest speakers:

o    Maya Kincaid, Head of Learning and Engagement at the De La Warr Pavilion.

o    Lucy Grainge, Artist Facilitator and co-founder of Wiggle Wonderland, a socially engaged arts organisation.

·         Explore creative paths that involve collaboration, community, and care.

OPTIONAL APPLICATION SUPPORT

We’ll also introduce the Emerging Creative Facilitator opportunity with Creative Sidley.
If you’re thinking about applying, stick around for an optional application support session — a relaxed space to ask questions and get tips.

Free snacks and soft drinks provided!

Fill out the RSVP form to book a place — come along, listen, chat, and connect.

Whether you’re applying for a role or just want to learn more about creative work that makes a difference, Creating Together is for you.
