Get ready for a little bit of space magic! Join us to make a simple, safe eclipse viewing tube using everyday materials. This easy, family-friendly activity lets you watch the moon slowly pass in front of the sun without ever looking directly at it.
As the eclipse unfolds, your homemade viewer will project the sun’s image onto a screen inside the tube, revealing the changing shape of the eclipse in a completely safe way. Suitable for all ages, with simple materials and plenty of help along the way.
