There are proposed rail strikes on Friday 3 February. Should these take place, we have put together alternative ways of getting to the Pavilion, so you can still celebrate the opening of our Spring Exhibitions with us.
Bus
From the direction of Hastings and St. Leonards:
- The 99 and 98 services depart from Hastings Railway Station, and stop outside the Pavilion
From the direction of Eastbourne:
- The 99 leaves from Terminus Road, Eastbourne, and stops opposite the Pavilion
Stagecoach have a ‘Plan Your Journey’ feature https://www.stagecoachbus.com/plan-a-journey so you can find the best time and location for you.
Car
If you are planning to drive or carshare, there is a council run, pay-for, carpark at the Pavilion plus plenty of pay-for and free on-street parking in the surrounding areas. Parking zones and restricted hours can be found here, with most restrictions running from 8am – 6pm: https://www.eastsussex.gov.uk/parking/permits/bexhill/zones
Taxi
Although there are plenty of local taxi companies, here are a couple we have used in the past:
- Town Taxis: 01424 733 733
- 247/247: 01424 247 247
The Party starts at 6pm with a complimentary drink on arrival, so plan ahead and allow plenty of time to get here. We look forward to celebrating with you!
