Join us for an exciting and imaginative art camp led by artist Sam Arye where we will be creating lots of different art and celebrating Sidley.

Over three days we will be exploring drawing and working with different materials to make drawings happen in lots of different ways! From quiet and small drawings to large, loud and wearable drawings, from zines, to sculptures, to inks, to individual and collaborative ways of making.

Our creative journey will culminate in large-scale collaborative drawings that will depict our ‘ideal landscape’ and be displayed in a public space for all to see. Sidley Art Camp is an inclusive and welcoming program, open to children of all artistic abilities although an interest in art and crafting is a must! It aims to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where each child’s unique creativity can flourish.

Sam Arye is a local artist who has run previous Holiday Food and Fun sessions in Sidley called Sidley Tourist Board. He makes drawings, paintings, performances, music, resources and ‘sculptures with purpose’ with a focus on environmentally responsible use of materials. This HAF is organised by De La Warr Pavilion and Heart of Sidley.
