During this fun-filled week you will be able to take part in many different creative activities – including music, making, drawing and painting – as we explore the theme of Sustainable Travel.
Monday 30 March: We begin our week at Bexhill Museum, where you will get exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the museum collections. Discover fascinating objects and stories from the time of the Roman Empire and take inspiration from the past as we begin our creative week together.
Tuesday 31 March: We move to the De La Warr Pavilion for an imaginative artist-led workshop, building on what you discovered at the museum and exploring creative responses to Roman history and culture.
Wednesday 1 April & Thursday 2 April: Join Create Music at the De La Warr Pavilion for two days of music-making inspired by stories, journeys and life in the Roman world.
Lunch will be provided for everyone on the course each day. You will receive recipe cards so you can try making the nutritious meal options again at home, and you can also take part in fun games and activities focused on healthy, active lifestyles.
During the week we will work towards an informal celebration event on the final day of the course, when family and friends are invited to come along, see what you have been working on, and learn more about the food you have been enjoying at lunchtimes.
Come along and get creative!
