During this fun-filled week you will be able to take part in many different creative activities – including music, making, drawing and painting – as we explore the theme of Sustainable Travel.
Monday 29th July: We start our week at Bexhill Museum where you will get exclusive ‘behind-the-scenes’ access to the museum collections. You can see three vehicles that represent different eras and technology: a reproduction steam driven 1902 Serpollet or ‘Easter Egg’, a 1958 mk III Elva sports racing car and the 1993 world record breaker Volta electric car!
Tuesday 30 July: We move to the De La Warr Pavilion for an imaginative workshop run by artist India Harvey, inspired by the steam and electric cars you saw at the Museum
Wednesday 31 July & Thursday 1 August: Join Create Music at the De La Warr Pavilion for 2 days of making music inspired by transport and travel!
Lunch will be provided for everyone on the course each day and you can also take part in fun games and activities focused on nutritious eating and healthy, active lifestyles. Come along and get creative!
During the week we will work towards an informal celebration event, that will take place on the last day of the course, when family and friends are invited to come along and find out more about what you have been working on and learn more about the food that you’ve been eating at lunchtimes.
Come along and get creative!
