Award-winning comedian, writer, presenter, and actress Katherine Ryan is at the top of her game and Battleaxe brings her back out on tour after the sell-out international smash hit that was Missus ended its year long run in 2022.
Katherine’s four part flagship series for W – Parental Guidance – is airing now to rave reviews. Out of Order for Comedy Central comes out on the 26th February with Katherine as a team captain alongside host Rosie Jones and Judi Love.
In addition to her regular appearances on all the major British panel shows, Katherine’s upcoming flagship 6 x 60’ comedy travel show with Joe Wilkinson for Channel 4 will air later this year. In 2023, she starred in the Sky Original comedy series, Romantic Getaway, with Romesh Ranganathan, as well as The Lionesses: A League of Their Own special with Jill Scott and Maisie Adam. She also surprised the nation with her performance on The Masked Singer as the much loved Pigeon.
In 2022, Katherine hosted her own hilarious 6-part global flagship series for Amazon Prime – Backstage with Katherine Ryan. She has also hosted two series of the hit primetime BBC Two jewelry-making competition series All That Glitters.
Her latest comedy special, Missus, aired on Sky Comedy in late 2022 to huge acclaim.
Her debut 6 x 30’ Netflix sitcom The Duchess – which she wrote, executive produced and starred in – leapt to the top of the UK Netflix chart on its release. She was also only the second UK-based comedian to get a Netflix Global comedy special after Jimmy Carr and the first woman (2017’s In Trouble). Her second special Glitter Room also sits on the platform.
Her debut book The Audacity was published by Bonnier and went straight into the Sunday Times Bestseller list. Her hit podcast Telling Everybody Everything frequently tops the podcast charts and is hosted by market-leader Acast.
