GUEST SPEAKER

Erica Wolfe-Murray “A passionate advocate for the creative industries, I’ve worked as both a design studio head and tv indie FD. Determined to do more, 13 years ago I set up Lola Media specifically to help creative, cultural and tech company founders & practitioners harness their existing capability, knowledge and IP to grow – whatever growth means to them. With a 500+ client list ranging from dance schools to design studios, games developers to sweet makers, createch, architects and most kinds of screen companies, I continue to build and share my methodology.

I’ve been the lead on the BFI-funded CreativeUK Female Founders Scale-up Programme for five years, am a mentor for the InnovateUK-funded CoSTAR programme and the Clore Fellowship, in addition to delivering change-making workshops for 7 of England’s 12 CreateGrowth consortia. I’m on the advisory board of 3 companies including Emmy-nominated Singer Studios. I wrote Simple Tips, Smart Ideas: Build a Bigger Better Business – a finalist in the 2020 Business Book Awards – to help freelancers and micro companies grow and present a course on Domestika. This autumn, I’m running the Artist Development Growth School for leading practitioners for Salford Cultural & Place Partnership.”

WHAT IS LEARN SHARE NETWORK?

Running a small business is tough – especially weathering the multiple storms the last few years have thrown at us. That’s why we’ve launched a series of free events for small businesses to network, share experiences, have a drink and learn something new. Launched in January 2025, each event invites speakers to explore a different theme key for small businesses to master in order to succeed in a competitive market place, as well as providing a relaxed opportunity to meet other local businesses facing similar challenges. Anyone running a small business in Bexhill, Hastings & St Leonard’s is welcome.
