The 80-strong Lifted Up Community Choir will be raising the roof in their first concert at the Pavilion, with powerful gospel and soul songs full of love and joy! |

From gospel classics such as “Happy Day” and “Soon and Very Soon” to soul and pop favourites such as “Lovely Day” (Bill Withers) “Young Hearts Run Free” (Candi Staton), “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” ( Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell) and “Fantasy” (Earth Wind & Fire), you won’t be able to resist joining in! Choirmaster Day Levale has led a group of exceptional singers from Bexhill, Hastings, St Leonards and Eastbourne who have worked in harmony together all year to create a big, inspirational and magnificent sound that touches the heart and moves the soul. Some of you may have attended the open workshops held in the auditorium in January and September, and have already had a taste of what they can do. For this concert, for the first time, they will be accompanied by a live band – the iGospel band Feel the joy and be lifted up this Christmas season! |
