Workshops offering drop-in style creative activities, in dialogue with our exhibitions.
Join us for a January spring clean; learn how to use up all your fabric and wrapping paper scraps to create colourful creatures and delightful designs. Taking inspiration from the exhibition Cursebreakers, we’re creating mosaic and 3D collages; it’s the last chance to see this amazing exhibition so start your new year with a shot of creative goodness!
2 – 4.30pm, drop-in
Made possible by kind donations of fabric from our DLWP Patron Lee Taylor, of T1 Textiles. Materials for this workshop have been kindly provided by Lee’s new shop; The London (Road) Fabric Shop, specialising in unique textiles from around the world.
Lee says:
“We at The London Road Fabric shop in Bexhill are pleased to continue our work with the DLWP and their Look Think Make drop-in workshop, the team do an amazing job with these workshops and we are happy to donate all of our unwanted swatch cards and fabric remnants to Christine and the team, they make excellent use of them and introduce a new generation to the joy of textiles and colour, this also means that the fabrics are used and do not end up in land fill, so a win for the environment too!”
The beautiful fabrics will be on sale at Lee’s new shop, which can be found at:
79 London Road,
Bexhill on Sea,
