Join like-minded young people for a relaxed, art making session with artist Miguel Martin. Explore your creative curiosity with a range of materials and techniques including drawing, painting, portraiture, print, collage, clay and many more.
This four-week course is an exciting way to make new friends, learn new skills, express yourself and most importantly have fun! Each session includes after-school snacks.
These sessions will take place every Thursday from 4-5.30pm, in our Learning Space

Participants who take part in NEXTWAVE art clubs will have the opportunity to progress onto joining our Youth Collective, The Blueprint Collective once they are 16 years old.

Miguel gained a BA (Hons) Fine and Applied Art at Ulster University, Belfast, and went on to develop his career as a multimedia artist from his studio at artist-led gallery space Platform Arts. He has exhibited widely throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as collaborated with a number of Arts Institutions such as Golden Thread Gallery, The MAC Belfast on a variety of school activity packs and online after school art workshops. Miguel moved to Hastings in 2019, and is currently the Learning & Participation Assistant at De La Warr Pavilion as well as a member of Common Clay Studios at Beeching Road, Bexhill-on-Sea.
