Join like-minded young people for a relaxed, art making session with artist Miguel Martin. Explore your creative curiosity with a range of materials and techniques including drawing, painting, portraiture, print, collage, clay and many more.
This six-week course is an exciting way to make new friends, learn new skills, express yourself and most importantly have fun! Session includes after-school snacks.

This can be paid in 3 two-weekly instalments of £24 each
£30 for children of families who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals*

Participants who take part in NEXTWAVE art clubs will have the opportunity to progress onto joining our Youth Collective, The Blueprint Collective once they are 16 years old.

- Using CAMHS or Schools Mental Health Service
- Gypsy, Roma or Traveller families
- Hav a disability, and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or other Special Educational Needs/Disability (SEND)
- Supported by Family Focus services
- Young Carer or has a disabled sibling
- Is a Child in Need, Child on a Child Protection Plan or a Looked After Child

Miguel gained a BA (Hons) Fine and Applied Art at Ulster University, Belfast, and went on to develop his career as a multimedia artist from his studio at artist-led gallery space Platform Arts. He has exhibited widely throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as collaborated with a number of Arts Institutions such as Golden Thread Gallery The MAC Belfast on a variety of school activity packs and online after school art workshops. Miguel moved to Hastings in 2019, and is currently the Learning & Participation assistant at De La Warr Pavilion as well as a member of Common Clay Studios at Beeching Road, Bexhill-on-Sea.
