OPEN MIC LIVE AT DLWP
FOR MUSICIANS AGED 18 – 25
FREE in our Café Bar from 4.30 – 7.30pm
Join us for the first Open Mic Live at DLWP, an intimate evening of free live music with upcoming local artists in our Café Bar. This event is free to attend, with limited capacity, so arrive early to avoid disappointment!
We are inviting upcoming local solo musicians or duo acts, aged 18 to 25, the opportunity to play a 15min open mic slot between 4.30pm to 6.30pm to an audience in our Café Bar.
At each event, we will invite upcoming local artists to perform 30min headline slots. For our first event on 29 January, we’re really excited to announce that our headliners are:
Jasmine Thakral – 6.30pm
Bellza – 7pm

How to take part
If you are a solo musician or part of a duo, aged between 18 to 25 and would like the opportunity to play a 15min open mic slot, email us to register your interest at openmic@dlwp.com. We ask all musicians to send a link (Spotify, Soundcloud or YouTube etc) and short bio (including age and location).
There area limited amount of open mic slots so email us by Thursday 26 Jan for the best chance of being able to play on Sunday 29 January. There may be some slots available on the day, although we can’t guarantee, we’d still encourage you to turn up ready to play should there be space. If the slots become fully booked, you’ll be asked to register interest for next time – we look forward to seeing you there!

Jasmine Thakral is an East Sussex based singer-song writer making ‘dreamy sad girl indie pop’ based on friendships, state of mind as well as fictional characters from the TV shows and books.
