A group of nine adults sit smiling around a long dining table in a bright, modern restaurant with large windows. The atmosphere is cheerful and inviting.

We’re delighted to invite our Patrons to join us for a visit to Crafted at Powdermills in Battle for a tour of their current art selection and lunch in the Members Private Dining Room, joined by art consultant Despina Wotton.

For those of you who haven’t yet experienced Crafted – or if you’ve heard the buzz but haven’t yet visited – here’s a little about the concept and ethos behind it.

Crafted at Powdermills is the first in a series of life-friendly hotels and clubs.  Opened in November 2025, Crafted is a space to be yourself and fill up on the good stuff.

At Crafted, we’re not only about championing the value of human craft-making skills, but also the values. This is why we work with makers, not mass producers: the time, thought, and touch they put into their work is what gives a space its soul, and our experience its meaning.

This championing of craft extends to the artwork hung on the walls throughout the spaces, with works by local artists and those from a little further afield, including Denver Sorrell, Chiara Perano, Bruce Ingram, Nikki Edwards & Elizabeth Power.

This visit is open to current De La Warr Pavilion Patrons at £20 per person.

If you wish to join as a Patron, from £250 annually, you are warmly invited to do so, and on joining, you will receive a complimentary ticket for this special visit to Crafted at Powdermills.
