International and local soloists and ensembles perform a variety of music in a relaxed morning atmosphere. Including world premieres by several female composers.
Many featured composers are performing their own works, such as French pianist Veronique Bracco and pianist, Amy Fairchild who is coming especially from the USA. Also included in the programme are works by Judith Markovich (also from the US), and British composers including Dawn Walters, Diane Wilks, and Rosemary Duxbury. This concert also features wonderful music performed by young virtuoso musicians Daisy Noton (flute) and Hew Boucher (flute) by composer in residence Paul Lewis.
Featured performers include pianist Graziana Presicce (Italy), coloratura soprano Elaine Dave (UK), the Hastings Sinfonia Wind Quintet, British soprano Jennifer Maslin and the ICF Piano Quartet, with amazing talented young members Tim Crawford (violin), Hélène Clément (viola), Tim Posner (cello) and Sam Armstrong (piano).
The International Composers Festival is a unique three-day festival on the south coast of England, celebrating music of passion and melody, created by living composers from all over the world, many of whom will be attending the Festival. It features world-class performances with big orchestral scores, film, computer gaming, television themes, chamber, song and dance music, performed by the International Festival Orchestra, soloists, ensembles and dancers.
