Attending tonight’s Solar Eclipse Watch? Please bring your own certified solar eclipse glasses or viewer. The Eclipse Viewer Workshop will be popular and capacity will be limited, with places allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

4pm – 6pm – Family Workshop

6.15pm – 8.05pm – Solar Eclipse

Experts from The East Sussex Astronomical Society will be on the terrace with telescopes and tips to help you watch the Eclipse safely.

There will be an artist-led family workshop at 4pm, making Eclipse related items for you to commemorate the occasion!

Please do not look directly at the Solar Eclipse with the naked eye or through normal sunglasses. This is dangerous and can permanently damage the retina in your eyes. A limited number of solar glasses will be available to purchase on the night from the East Sussex Astronomical Society. Purchases will be limited to one pair per family.
