Closing the Festival and this very special concert is a performance of The Way of Light composed by festival patron Nigel Hess, featuring young star soprano Eleanor Grant and actor John Watts.
The festival’s culminating concert includes several commissioned symphonic dances inspired by music from around the world by renowned composers, including Garry Judd, Simon Proctor and Kevin Riley, choreographed and performed by adult dance group Lasolepa and Eastbourne Academy of Dancing .
Soloists include Greek star soprano Aliki and sensational British pianist, Oliver Poole, local shanty singers Rock-A-Nore Sound and a surprising rendition from high-powered Brazilian rhythm group Sambalanco performing for the very first time together with a symphony orchestra. A very emotive piece by Mexican composer Jose Elizondo choreographed and performed by Japanese Butoh dancer Yumino Seki plus the world-premiere of two exotic Argentine Dances by composer Polo Piatti

This event will run from 4-6pm, and includes a 20 minute interval.
The International Composers Festival is a unique three-day festival on the south coast of England, celebrating music of passion and melody, created by living composers from all over the world, many of whom will be attending the Festival. It features world-class performances with big orchestral scores, film, computer gaming, television themes, chamber, song and dance music, performed by the International Festival Orchestra, soloists, ensembles and dancers.
