THE MIXER is curated by Konkrete Promo part of the Eastbourne Music Collective.

The Eastbourne Music Collective (EMC) is the home for heavy metal, rock and indie music on the south coast that defines community. This collective oversees 200+ gigs per year via a network of promoters, artists, techs and enthusiasts. In addition EMC have regular nights at Badger in Hastings and in 2025 developed their first festival in Eastbourne CHUB STOCK which returns this year on 3rd October at the Guildhall.

THE MIXER line up on the 19 June includes both legends and rising young talent on the scene featuring…

Heavy Lungs are a Bristol-based post-punk band known for their chaotic, high-energy live shows and aggressive, indie-infused punk sound. They bring raw, loud and uncompromising energy to their shows taking influence from the rowdy and liberating gigs of the 80s and 90s. Rising brutally fast from the get-go, they have shared stages with comrades IDLES, The Oh Sees, METZ, JOHN and more. We are privileged to have them headlining on the De La Warr terrace before heading off on a major North America tour.

Snakes Eyes are the GRIT-POP DIY power from Brighton. After a couple of years heavy UK / EU touring and notable festival appearances they released their debut Album ‘Cash Rich’ in January this year. Their music evokes that you can have a good time while making a positive impact on the planet too. Backed by everyone from Radio 1 and 6 Music, Radio X and Clash Magazine.

Bones Ate Arfa are a Brighton desert-grunge/alt-rock trio delivering a “high-octane burst of defiant noise” built on their signature “junkyard dogriffs.” With thick distorted bass riffs, grungy guitars, snarling vocals and pounding drums, their sound is a raw outpouring of “emotional catharsis and self-aware chaos,” blending “high-octane, intense instrumentation and infectious melodies.” Fuelled by packed out live shows, national UK coverage and a rapidly growing following, the band channel the spirit of 2000s skater-era alt-rock while staying true to their blown-out bass tones and gritty production—cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most explosive emerging acts.

Veltmans are a 4 piece rock band from Eastbourne but underestimate all those words at your own loss. Having cut their teeth in the emerging grassroots scene they have exported their sound to the rest of the south coast over the last 2 years with two BBC introducing sets under their belts and an increasing interest as they play the European festival scene. They will be joined by fellow Eastbourne band Disc. Comprising of Stan H on guitar/vocals and Ed Bond on drums. The band take influence from bands like Cleopatrick and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.
