Ken Hutchinson

It is with great sadness that we learned on Friday that Ken Hutchinson passed away earlier in the week. He has been visiting the Pavilion for 30 years and it says much about him that he chose to celebrate his 90th Birthday by hosting a concert at the DLWP with all his (and his late wife’s) significant & favourite pieces of music. All monies raised are being donated to SSAFA and Churches Together in Bexhill.

During his many visits over the years “Hutch” entertained us with stories of his war days and showed us many programmes for events he had organised at the Albert Hall & Central Hall Westminster during his London years. We will miss him and will think of him every time we get the deckchairs out!
