You’ve been locked down for eight weeks now with your loved one. Perhaps its time to make it official?
There are still plenty of stay-at-home evenings left to plan your wedding!
With our large spaces outside and in, spacious balconies and fresh sea air, we are the wedding venue of the future and have dates available for 2021/22.
A wedding at the Pavilion is like no other – we appeal to couples who really want to make a statement on their big day. Non-traditional, stylish and fun, we offer a glamorous modern setting with spectacular sea views, bubbly on the open-air rooftop, lights and music in the auditorium and delicious, freshly made seasonal food presented in our first floor restaurant overlooking the sea. There are plenty of large outdoor spaces and your guests will love the sweeping drama of the 1930’s architecture. And we can promise you that the photographs – and the memories – will be totally unique.
Here’s what some of our couples tell us:
“One of the most iconic buildings on the south east coast and a truly superb event and art venue. The DLWP even hosted our wedding and we could not fault them one bit, the service and management here is brilliant and we feel we have made a number of friends through our wedding planning process. Without a doubt we would recommend the DLWP for any event, private function or wedding that you maybe attending or planning. We certainly look forward to visiting often and saying hello to you all.

“Please pass on our sincere thanks to the whole team!
The organising and scheduling was excellent. Thank you for the last minute real ale order – that went down very well.
The tech guys did such a fab job ensuring the lighting and music was spot on and I was so thankful for the last minute ramp installation.
The chef and catering staff did a wonderful job and really did the venue proud. Our guests absolutely loved the food and wine. The severing staff were very kind, helpful and polite.
The bar staff were great too, so thanks to Sam, Karen & the team.
We saw some of our friends yesterday and they all said what a fantastic venue, meal. I have also received text messages saying the same. We loved every part of our day. ”

“Julia and I had the immense pleasure of getting married at DLWP on Saturday (9 June) and we wanted the Board to be aware of the huge contribution to the success of our big day that was made by your events and catering teams.
All our guests were highly complementary about the organisation and execution of our celebrations, and of the patience and professionalism shown by all those people (seen and behind the scenes) who played a part.
In particular, we want to acknowledge the work of Naomi and Brogan who worked so hard to make our day work as we wanted; Also, chefs Ryan, Kim and all the catering/bar team were so professional and managed to unite over 200 separate plates with our guests and kept our glasses charged. Many of our guests told me they enjoyed the food and the poached pear seemed to be the most winning dish of the day.
We also want to thank the set-up team and the AV team for lugging tables, chairs, equipment and everything else that had to be done. My last minute request for a TV to be set up for a surprise video for Julia was handled brilliantly.
All in all, our big day was unforgettable and we have already had many messages from guests saying how much fun they had and about the venue itself.
You have a unique facility and a wonderful team – please accept our sincere thanks for giving us the best experience possible.
– Steve and Julia
