New events from South East Creatives
To help creatives adapt, survive and grow, South East Creatives have pulled together a local offer of five new workshops for East Sussex-based creative and cultural businesses and sole traders.
These are free to any business or sole trader that has passed eligibility for the Programme. You can apply for the Programme here to South East Creatives.
Priority will be given to those who have not yet received 12 hours of training support or a grant from South East Creatives.

Fashion Sector Workshops
20 October & 6 November
10.30am to 12.15pm on both days
Offering fashion and accessory businesses in East Sussex the space to come together to discuss ideas and share knowledge. The two facilitated Zoom sessions will feature a key speaker from the sector and the chance to network.

Inventing Your Future – Business Planning for People Who Hate Planning
Four consecutive Mondays, starting 5 October 2020
2-5pm on each Monday
A four part online workshop series to help creative entrepreneurs and freelancers think about living well and making a living in the ‘new normal’. Perfect for those of you who need to re-imagine your business or career in light of the pandemic, or who simply need some help focusing on strategy amidst all the uncertainty we face.

The Creating and Innovating Sessions
2 sessions, 14th and 21st October 2020
9.30am to 12.30pm on both days
Two workshops exploring the related themes of creativity in changing times and the why, what and how of innovating. Led by Julia Payne, these workshops will help you’ll explore how creativity works, the conditions that help nurture it, and look at the key ingredients of successful innovation.

Produce Your Own Social Media Strategy workshop
3 and 5 November 2020
10am to 1pm on both days
Over the two sessions, social media specialists Social Brighton will guide you through developing a social media strategy for your business or project. You’ll learn how, where and when to publish content that gets attention from the right people – without spending ages on social media. And how you measure the results.
