Our New Summer Menu Launch
The summer months are approaching at the De La Warr Pavilion, and this means we are launching our brand-new menu this Friday to match the upcoming season. Our team has been busy behind the scenes curating a new selection of appetising dishes that are perfect for the longer days and relaxed seaside dining. We are delighted to share the list of fresh and bold seasonal flavours to enjoy while overlooking the Bexhill seafront.

Grilled chicken Caesar salad, crispy bacon, herb croutons, shaved parmesan.
From laid-back brunches (served 10–11.30am) featuring our hearty DLWP full breakfasts and breakfast rolls served on Poppyseed Bakery soft white rolls with house brown sauce, to a lunchtime line-up (12–3pm) packed with satisfying favourites, there’s something for every kind of visit. You’ll find everything from colourful, plant-based options like our Mediterranean veg and chickpea ciabatta or sweet potato and coconut curry, to classic crowd-pleasers like beer battered fish and chips and our lamb kofta burger. And for those in-between moments, we’ve kept things easy with light bites, sandwiches, and plenty of options for little ones too.
Alongside our main menu, our daily specials bring an extra layer of creativity to the table. Designed to be flexible and full of exciting flavours that change from day to day. It’s where our kitchen team really gets to play, making the most of what’s fresh and inspiring each morning. You’ll often find beautifully prepared fish sourced from Rock-a-Nore in Hastings, alongside dishes that reflect the best of what’s available right now, so there will always something new to discover with every visit.

Tomato and herb bruschetta, avocado and olive tapenade.
“We’re excited to be launching our new summer menu and I’m incredibly proud of what the team here has created. The focus has been on fresh ingredients sourced by local suppliers that people will want to come back for again. If I had to pick a favourite, it would have to be the lamb kofta burger served on a seeded bun, with mint yoghurt, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion and a side of our fries.” – Ryan Taylor, Head Chef
Whether you’re joining us for a laid-back lunch after a stroll along the seafront, catching up with friends over drinks on the terrace, or making an afternoon of it before a show, our new summer menu is all about easy enjoyment and feel-good food. We’ve taken inspiration from the summer months to create something just a little bit special, perfect for making the most of your time with us. So, if you’re looking for your next excuse to visit, our new summer menu might just be it.
