DLWP has been bringing communities together through culture for 85 years. We are a registered charity and all our income is reinvested in programmes for the benefit of the public, our community.

Membership FAQs

When will I receive my membership cards?

If you purchase your Membership at the Box Office, you will be issued with a card immediately.

If you join us online we will post your Membership card in mid-January 2022. This is because our teams are working from home wherever possible to help keep our visitors and colleagues safe, in line with government guidance.

You may collect a Membership card from the Box Office if you visit us prior to receiving it by post. Thank you for your patience and understanding.


Can I access benefits if I do not have my card?

Yes! Your Membership is active from the time of purchase onwards and you can access all your Membership benefits straight away. To access priority booking and discounts simply login online or book direct via the Box Office.

If you visit us before receiving your card you are welcome to collect one from the Box Office.

How do I renew my Membership?

To renew your Membership please login to your account and add your chosen Membership to the basket. You can also renew by visiting our Box Office. You will receive reminders to renew your Membership by email – remember to check your junk folder!

Remember to tick ‘auto renew’ when purchasing Membership online to automatically renew your Membership every year!

When can I use my Café Bar discount?

Members’ & Patrons’ 10% Café Bar is available with a valid membership card during daytime opening hours. As a special offer, it is also valid on gig nights until 01 January 2022 – simply show your Membership card at any of our bars to access 10% off.

Your discount is also valid for pre-show dining on gig nights. Please note pre-show dining is only offered for selected gigs.

The discount can be used for a maximum party size of 8 per valid Membership card.

Is there a pre-sale for every event?

Many of our live events have pre-sales for Members’ & Patrons. Because we sometimes work with promoters and other third parties to bring headline acts to the Pavilion, it is not always possible to arrange a pre-sale.

What kind of events are eligible for Members’ discounts?

Selected events have free or discounted tickets for Members & Patrons. These are usually workshops, tours, talks and screenings.

Such events are currently taking place online and are either free or pay what you can.

Please note, the 10% discount only applies to our Café Bar and Shop. It does not apply to event tickets.

How many pre-sale tickets can I buy with my Membership?

The number of pre-sale tickets you can buy is the same as the tickets per customer limit for general on sale. The limit varies depending on event and can vary from two to eight tickets per customer and applies to both Single and Joint Members.

How do I login to access discounts and presales?

Visit to login. If you are having problems logging in, please reset your password. If you are still having difficulties, please contact our Box Office on 01424 229111.

I have lost my card. May I have a new one?

Yes. Please visit our Box Office, call 01424 229111 or email

I pay my Membership by Direct Debit, when will I be charged?

Wherever possible, we will take payment for your Membership renewal at the start of the month in which your Membership is due to expire. Please contact if you have any questions about your Direct Debit. You will be notified of your Direct Debit renewal by email.

I opted to renew my Membership by auto-renew, when will I be charged?

Provided the ‘preferred card’ registered to your account is still valid, payment will be taken seven days prior to your Membership expiry date. To manage your payment methods, please login to your online account.

You will be notified of auto-renew payment in advance by email.

If your preferred payment method is invalid, we will ask you by email to provide new card details.

Can I buy Membership as a gift?

Yes. You can purchase gift Membership via our website or at the Box Office. Gift Memberships are a code that the recipient can redeem. You can choose when purchasing online if you would like the voucher to be emailed to the recipient or yourself. If you purchase a Gift Membership at the Box Office you can have the voucher printed.

Can I cancel my Membership?

Yes, please contact our Box Office at You cannot claim a full or partial refund when cancelling a Membership.
