CORE FUNDERS
In 2021, Rother District Council reconfirmed its longstanding commitment to the Pavilion and our communities by granting core funding of £477,000 per year from April 2021 to March 2024. Community groups are able to apply for a share of a £12,000 pot to help them make use of the facilities at the popular venue.
As a National Portfolio Organisation the De La Warr Pavilion receives £517,785 per annum, 2023–26, from Arts Council England.
In 2022, Arts Council England awarded a £400,000 capital grant to deliver a significant upgrade to our auditorium Technical Theatre Systems, thereby extending our reach, reducing our carbon footprint, and improving our business model resilience post-pandemic.
You can read more about why culture matters on the Arts Council England website.
