The DLWP Restaurant space is sleek, modern & can be set to your specific requirements in.

Please be aware that this space can only be hired out after public opening hours.

You have full & exclusive use of the whole of Level 1, therefore why not stretch out into the Café Bar area creating a lounge-style bar with our leather sofas?

The area just outside Gallery 2 and around the Spiral Staircase, transforms into your dance floor; where your band or DJ is located to entertain you and your guests.

We can serve arrival drinks, facilitate a paying bar for the night & many options for your buffet or canapé selection – all catering is provided in-house and is charged per head in addition to the venue hire fee.

The seated capacity can be increased if you would like to keep your party to drinks, nibbles, music and canapés.

  • There are two main staircases for your guests to use. Including the famous spiral staircase overlooking the sea.

As the Pavilion is a busy public building with its own active programme, we need to carefully consider all hire requests to check availability, access and consider the fit with our current programme of events.Completing our ‘Get In Touch’ form (below) allows us to consider your request.

This process enables us to deliver the best possible service to a wide audience. We consider hires from the commercial sector, the media, event organisers, as well as local community groups and charity fundraisers.

Please be aware we do not allow external caterers.

We regret is not always possible to accommodate all requests.

Car Parking
There are no free of charge car parking spaces at the De La Warr Pavilion.
The on-site car park is owned by Rother District Council and has space for 150 cars.
The car park operates a pay & display system throughout the day, however, is free of charge after 8.00pm.
The staff carpark is for De La Warr Pavilion staff only.  All cars parked within these spaces will be asked to move immediately and there is CCTV surveilling this area.  A maximum of 3 spaces for VIP’s or event managers can be held on advanced request only.

Marketing and PR
The De La Warr Pavilion is not responsible for the marketing and promotion of any hired event.

Health and Safety
The DLWP staff will monitor the planning, set up and/or breakdown of any event andactivities undertaken and reserve the right to request the actions be taken to ensure that Health and Safety of the public, performers and staff is not compromised.

Spaces
The Metropole lawns are owned by Rother District Council, all applications to hire/use these spaces are directed to the council themselves.
The De La Warr Pavilion is a Grade 1 listed building, for this reason no damage to the building is permitted during the hire.  All plans are directed towards the Event Coordinator for approval.

Weddings
All confetti must be environmentally friendly, non-slip and biodegradable.
