Within the limits of this Grade One listed building, the De La Warr Pavilion strives to be fully accessible with a range of facilities to support your visit.

Seating Information

The seat dimensions in our auditorium are different depending on whether you book the stalls/terrace or the balcony. All the seats in the theatre have arm rests, none of which are adjustable. If you have any questions about the seats, or need us to make any accommodations, please contact the Box Office via email on boxoffice@dlwp.com.

Downstairs, the seat dimensions are as follows:

  • (Seat room) In Between arm rests = 47cm
  • Seat to bottom of arm rest = 20 cm
  • (Leg room) Edge of seat to the back of the seat in front = 40cm

Upstairs in the balcony, the seat dimensions are:

  • (Seat room) In Between arm rests = 44cm
  • Seat to bottom of arm rest = 18cm. There is a bar that connects the arm rest to the seat, which may restrict comfort.
  • (Leg room) Edge of seat to the back of the seat in front = 18-23cm, although the front row is 40cm
Carer Tickets

We offer a limited number of complimentary carer tickets to the majority of our events.

 These tickets cannot be booked online, so please give us a call on 01424 229111 or visit us at the Box Office if you would like to book or discuss further.

New Changing Places Toilet in Egerton Park

Rother District Council have installed a new Changing Places toilet in Egerton Park, just 5 minutes from the Pavilion.  This has been Installed thanks to grant funding provided by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) with support from Bexhill Museum and in association with Muscular Dystrophy UK.  Instructions on how to use the toilets are on a sign outside.
